We are Trae and Candice McIllwain of T & C Kennels. We have 3 beautiful girls age 14, 6 years, and 5 years old. We live in a small town in Middle Tennessee about 45 minutes west of Nashville, called White Bluff. We love meeting families, making new friends, and interacting with them over our shared love for the breed.
Trae has been breeding Labrador Retrievers for 13 years. Starting with his first Labrador, Tucker. Tucker was like no other dog Trae had ever seen. He exhibited more love and compassion then just your ordinary dog. His composition and personality led Trae to want to continue his bloodline. Tucker passed away on September 7,2019 after 13 wonderful years with us. We now have his son, Doc, as our main Sire, and as of January 9,2019, we have continued the bloodline by keeping a 3rd generation male, Lane.
We currently have 5 AKC Labs that are a major part of our family. Their call names are Josie, Ella, Dottie, Chief, and Andy. Our dogs are very involved in our lives. They love playing in the creek, playing fetch, going fishing, playing with our 3 girls, or just sitting by the fire.
